Sam brings a variety of experience to Buurman Finance, from her finance career here in Perth and her time living in Canada. Sam worked for various Australian financial institutions in a lending role prior to moving to Calgary, where Sam worked in the oil & gas industry for both a large multi national corporation and a smaller privately owned producer. These roles helped her further develop her analytical and problem-solving skills whilst gaining high level exposure to planning, operations, and business development in the industry.
Helping people and being part of the community is very important to Sam. She enjoys working with people to help them achieve their goals, taking the time to listen and work collaboratively for the best outcome. This approach is evident across all aspects of Sam’s life as she teaches classes at her local gym and enjoys volunteering at the community kindergarten as well as with her son’s school and sports teams.
Sam has completed Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking and is currently working on her Diploma.
Having grown up in country WA, Sam has a love of the outdoors. In her spare time, you will find her at the beach, riding her bike along the coast or camping in our beautiful South West with her adventure loving son.
